Quality

All stages are monitored from the most varied types of feed through to the processing of the product. Through our control laboratories, we know “what” and “from whom” we are buying raw materials. Our philosophy is total control over the quality of our products and processes.

Slaughtering Plant

The slaughtering process is carried out in a modern Slaughtering Plant in the city of São José , state of Santa Catarina. This unit, like our other units, offers safe products to our consumers. A highly trained team ensures the quality of our products.

• FEED MILLS
We formulate the feed for our chickens. Each growing phase requires a special type of feed. Our team of nutritionists formulates a balanced feed with everything a chicken needs. Our laboratories check and certify the quality of the feed nutrients. If the feed ingredients are not of superior quality, we do not use them. A well-nourished chicken will be a well-nourished meal.

• BREEDING
The choice of the municipality of Bom Retiro to install a Breeding Farm was not in vain. The climate, the distance from large centers and the green belt offered by the Atlantic Forest result in better bio-security.

• HATCHERY
In the same way it is in other units, control is the order of the day. The quality of the egg is directly related to the characteristics of the birds. This is the unit where the eggs are selected and prepared for incubation. After hatching, the chicks are vaccinated and separated by their gender.

• CHICKEN GROW-OUT FARMS
Our chickens are raised in specially acclimatized farms. They are monitored to ensure their best growth potential. We have our own farms, which are all within a radius of 62 miles from the Slaughtering Plant. Our technical team works in the field to ensure that the established quality standards are met.
